Bret P. Richards, CAI of Cayuga, TX is Founder and President of For Your Benefit, LLC and Principal Fundraising Auctioneer and Consultant for all clients and customers. A first generation auctioneer, Bret is a graduate of the Missouri Auction School in St. Louis, MO and is a Class of 2001 graduate of Texas A&M University.

Bret is a former Rookie Champion Auctioneer and was crowned 2007 Texas State Champion Auctioneer by the Texas Auctioneers Association, one of the largest bid calling championships in the nation. Bret holds the prestigious CAI Designation (Certified Auctioneers Institute), the most highly respected educational designation in the auction industry. Less than 5% of auctioneers nationwide have complete the three-year executive development program offering coursework in marketing, finance, and auction management skills.

Bret is licensed in over 20 states as an auctioneer and real estate broker and has conducted literally thousands of auctions over a 15-year career, selling every type of item at auction imaginable. In addition to being a contract auctioneer and owning part of a real estate brokerage, Bret is also President of Texas Aggie Rodeo, Inc, a non-profit alumni support group for the Texas A&M Rodeo Team and a board member for the Knickers Or Nothin’ Golf Classic, a golf tournament that has raised over $100,000 for pediatric cancer and many other children’s organizations.

Bret and his wife Roxanne live in Bryan, TX with their daughter Kimberlyn (5) and son Kade (2).
